	Using Plastic Canvas Design Studio Below are some helpful 'hints' to using the Plastic Canvas Design Studio software. Please be patient... this page may take a little time to load the images. This page tells you how to download a file which will make updates to your software (updating colors and any problems that were found and fixed).

	Save the file above as "work_gingerman.jpg". Select File Import Browse And choose the file work_gingerman.jpg Click on Next then Next again. Make sure you check Maintain Aspect, and Smooth Colors on Resize Adjusting the Size If you want to manipulate the pattern to a set height and width, uncheck the Maintain Aspect, then you can modify both of the Width and Height sizes. Suggested Sizes: Magnet/Ornament: Width: 3 inches or 21 stitches, Height: 4 inches or 28 stitches Boutique Tissue Box Side: Width: 4.5 inches or 32 stitches, Height: 5 inches or 36 stitches Note: You can also adjust the Cloth Count for 10-count at this time. If you leave Smooth Colors on Resize unchecked, the color transfer will not be as smooth, and will probably require more modifications to the pattern. Select Next Note: On this screen you can change the Floss Category for the type of color shades you want to use. You can also adjust the number of colors; sometimes this helps to simplify the colors used; often it doesn't make a big different though! You can also make Color Adjustments. If you select a Color Adjustment Type - click on Adjust Image to see how it the image will change. Click on Finish when ready to continue. And here is the initial pattern. Note: Adjustments will almost always be required to 'clean' up the pattern.
